PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Fruitport Charter Township Planning Commission will hold THREE public hearings during a regular meeting on September 15, 2026 at 7:00p.m. at the Fruitport Township Hall, 5865 Airline Rd, Fruitport, MI 49415.
The public hearings will consider:
- A request for a PUD revision to allow for the construction of a hotel and related site improvements at the northwest corner of Eastwind Dr and Commerce Centre Dr, Fruitport Township. Parcel ID #61-15-446-000-0009-00, 61-15-446-000-0010-00, 61-15-446-000-0011-00, 61-15-446-000-0012-00, 61-15-446-000-0013-00;
- A request for a PUD revision to allow for revisions to phase 3 of Deer Creek Meadows on S. Quarterline Rd, Fruitport Township. Parcel ID #61-15-127-100-0016-03; and
- A special use request and site plan approval to allow for the operation of a home occupation for Mitten Munch Freeze Dried and the production of freeze-dried fruit/candy at 2740 Hittle Creek Dr, Fruitport Township. Parcel ID #61-15-465-000-0003-00.
Written comments will be received at the Township Hall, 5865 Airline Road, Fruitport, Michigan 49415 (phone: 231-865-3151) Monday – Thursday between the hours of 8:00a.m. and 4:30p.m. All written comments received will be read aloud during the meeting.
The Township of Fruitport will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services for this meeting to individuals with disabilities upon 5 days notice to the Township Clerk.
