NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
PROPOSED ZONE CHANGES
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Fruitport Charter Township Planning Commission will hold THREE public hearings during a regular meeting on June 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fruitport Township Hall, 5865 Airline Rd, Fruitport, MI 49415.
The public hearings will consider:
- A zone change request from R-4 Residential-Agricultural District to R-1 Single Family Residential District for the south 300’ of the west 352.54’ of vacant land on E. Ellis Rd, Muskegon, MI 49444, Fruitport Township. Part of parcel ID #61-15-114-300-0025-10;
- A zone change request from M-1 Commercial-Industrial Park to R-1 Single Family Residential District for 3767 E. Broadway Ave, Muskegon, MI 49444, Fruitport Township. Parcel ID #61-15-101-200-0017-00; and
- A zone change request from R-4 Residential-Agricultural District to B-3 Service Business for vacant land on E. Sternberg Rd, Muskegon, MI 49444, Fruitport Township. Parcel ID #61-15-123-100-0022-00.
Written comments will be received at the Township Hall, 5865 Airline Road, Fruitport, Michigan 49415 (phone: 231-865-3151) Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. All written comments received will be read aloud during the meeting.
The Township of Fruitport will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services for this meeting to individuals with disabilities upon 5 days notice to the Township Clerk.
