NOTICE OF PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE
FRUITPORT CHARTER TOWNSHIP

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Fruitport Charter Township Zoning Map Amendment Ordinances had its first reading at a meeting of the Fruitport Charter Township Board held on March 22, 2021.

The ordinance will accomplish the following purpose:  re-zone from B-2 (General Business District) to R-2 (Single Family Residential/Duplex District) the following property: 61-15-101-300-0013-60 or vacant land on Hts. Ravenna Rd.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Ordinance has been posted in the office of the Fruitport Charter Township Clerk,  Fruitport Charter Township, 5865 Airline Road, Fruitport, MI (phone 231-865-3151), and on the Township website at www.fruitporttownship-mi.gov.

ZONING MAP AMENDMENT ORDINANCE

 

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP DESCRIBED IN THE ZONING CHAPTER OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR FRUITPORT CHARTER TOWNSHIP, MUSKEGON COUNTY, MICHIGAN, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REZONING CERTAIN LANDS FROM THE B-2 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT TO THE R-2 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL/DUPLEX DISTRICT.

 

THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF FRUITPORT, COUNTY OF MUSKEGON, STATE OF MICHIGAN, ORDAINS:

 

Section 1.  Amendment.  Section 42-251 of the Fruitport Charter Township Code of Ordinances, in Article VI of Chapter 42, shall be amended so that the following lands shall be rezoned from the B-2 General Business District to the R-2 Single Family Residential/Duplex District.  The lands are in the Charter Township of Fruitport, Muskegon County, Michigan, and are described as follows:
