Your Voting Options in Fruitport Township

As election day approaches, it’s important for voters to know their options for casting a ballot. In Fruitport Township, voters have several convenient methods to ensure their voices are heard. Here’s a breakdown of your voting options:

  1. In-Person Early Voting

One of the most flexible options available is in-person early voting. Voters can visit the early voting site located at the Muskegon County campus at 1903 Marquette Avenue. Early voting is conducted for 9 days and begins on Saturday, October 26th and continues through Sunday, November 3rd. This option mirrors election day voting, allowing voters to avoid the crowds and potential long lines on election day, but still vote in-person, casting their ballot through the tabulator. 1. Absentee Voting

For those who prefer to vote from the comfort of their home, absentee voting is a great choice. Voters can request an absentee ballot from the Clerk’s office and complete it at their convenience.  Absentee ballots can be returned by mail, by depositing in the drop box at town hall, or in-person at town hall.

  1. In-Person Voting on Election Day

If you prefer to vote in person, you can head to your designated precinct on election day between 7:00am-8:00pm. Be sure to check your polling location ahead of time. Having your photo ID ready can expedite the check-in process. Please be patient and kind to your election workers on this very busy day!

Make sure you’re prepared and informed to make your vote count!

Please contact your local Clerk’s office with any voting related questions!
